R.E.A.L. Men

I have been attending Kensington Church for a few months now and have heard of this thing called R.E.A.L.. Today it was brought up again and they happened to have DVD's so I purchased one for me and one for my cousin. This afternoon I watched it and it is awesome. It makes you think about things in a different perspective.

Check out some more information on it. www.kensingtonchurch.org/real.

I have actually watched it twice and plan to see if a few people from work want to go through the study guide together. http://www.kensingtonchurch.org/REAL/REAL_StudyGuide.pdf

I hope you like it.

Psalm 23

I think I officially have a favorite verse in the bible. This has been calling out to me lately.

Psalm 23
1 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,

3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.

4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.

5 You prepare a table before me
in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.

6 Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
forever.

When I read this I feel comfort in whatever challenges are going on in my life. If I have stress because of bills, work, family this gives me comfort to know that no matter what He is with me.

Baptism's at Kensington today.

Today was an awesome service while they talked about Baptism and it's symbolism. They also performed over a dozen baptisms during the first service and I am sure there were many more over the entire weekend and all the campuses. As I mentioned a few weeks ago I am looking to get baptized and I will be. It was a great experience to see the powerful moment that this event brings.

I look forward to when it is my time to get baptized in the coming months.
