Baptism.....

On 11/19/2011 my son Zachary and myself were Baptized at Kensington's Saturday evening service. The place was packed with people to see our public display of our choice to follow Christ in our lives. It was awesome.

Zachary had the opportunity to write a short story about his faith, then he was able to read it in front of everyone. He did such a great job. Then it was time to get into the freezing cold water (I guess the heater was broke on the hot tub.). I got in and my long time friend Jim Derbin baptized me with Steve Norman and that was awesome. Then I baptized Zachary with Steve Norman which was very powerful. I felt such an amazing feeling of love and happines.

Hunter says he wants to get baptized at the next one and have Zachary and myself Baptize him. I am so excited to be at this part of my life where I can follow Christ.

Calgary.....Hertz Rental Cars

I don't know what it is lately but every time over the past 3 trips I get in my rental car there has been a Christian station already turned on. I love it, I don't have to search at all to find the local station. It's nice to get in the car and not have some angry music playing.

Date for my Baptism is set....

A few months ago I mentioned I had decided to get baptized at Kensington. Unfortuantley I wasn't able to at the scheduled event that they had at that time. The next event is scheduled now and I am taking the plunge to publically show my love for Christ. November 19th at 5:30. I am so excited.
